The iconic Sydney Hotel Lord Gladstone aka The Gladdy will be renaming itself ‘Lord Jabstone Hotel’ aka the jabby!
For the month of September, the hotel has rebranded and is also offering vaccinated punters a free Young Henry’s beer, which might be the most Australian incentive ever.
All you need to do is show them your ‘post’ vaccination appointment or prove you have already received your vax and they will give you a free tinnie of beer to takeaway.
Arguably, if the Gladstone hotel renaming itself to the Jabstone hotel doesn’t inspire you to get vaxed, nothing will.
The rebrand comes after the NSW Government has been pushing Australians to get vaccinated due to the rising COVID-19 case numbers.
Currently, no pubs can only trade in takeaways due to the current lockdown restrictions in Sydney. Still, the local government has promised once most people are jabbed, Sydney will reopen.
The rebrand aims to inspire everyone to get jabbed, and here at B&T, we believe that if you are thirsty for a pub beer, then a vax is a must!
