Fox League has teamed up with ARIA award-winning Australian First Nations hip-hop group 3% and Butchulla Songman Fred Leone to recreate New Zealand artist Scribe’s iconic ‘Not Many’ to launch the 2026 NRL Finals.
Kayo SPORTS heads into the NRL Finals on the back of a record-breaking regular season for the platform, with 2026 finishing as the most watched ever and celebrating a ninth successive year of audience growth with average audiences increasing nine per cent year-on-year.
The song, available to buy and stream now, debuted ahead of the final round of the 2026 NRL regular season on Fox League’s Thursday Night Footy broadcast and across Fox League and Kayo Sports social media channels.
This production is the second collaboration between Kayo Sports, Foxtel and 3%, following ‘OUR GREATS’ which was produced for the 2025 NRL Indigenous Round.
“We believe the collaboration represents a genuinely special celebration of culture, contemporary Australian music and Rugby League. For everyone involved it feels like an iconic musical and cultural moment and an example of what can happen when music is placed at the centre of a major national sporting code – especially at this time of year,” said head of creative at Fox Sports Australia Charlie Lambert.
“When we were played this bespoke track in the early phase. I knew it deserved to be placed on the biggest stage in Rugby League – The NRL Finals.
“3% and their management have been amazing in collaboration with us on this. Here at Kayo SPORTS and FOXTEL, we are so proud to support Australian artists. Baker Boy, Parkway Drive, The Buoys, King Stingray and Kobie Dee have really helped us grow and push the limits of what’s possible in this space.”
The music video was filmed on location in New Zealand and Australia, including a live performance alongside the song’s original performer Scribe at Go Media Stadium during half-time in the New Zealand Warriors win over Penrith Panthers in Round 23 and at Helloworld Stadium, where Penrith will return to playing in 2027 after building works are completed. Players and coaches from each of the 2026 NRL Finals squads are also represented to celebrate their inclusion in the knockout stages.
