Kate & Co. PR has recently won eight new clients across the agency’s Luxury, Consumer & Retail and Beauty portfolios including Australian Distilling Co., Luxe.It.Fwd, Happy Socks, Désordre, Abbie James, Rooh Collective, OneSummer Skincare and Entourage.

In addition, Kate & Co. PR will once again be managing the PR for Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW). Working on the event for the third consecutive year, the agency comes off the back of a hugely successful 2021 campaign which saw media and social media coverage reach record levels.

Kate & Co. PR is delighted to welcome Australian-owned craft spirits company, Australian Distilling Co., to the agency’s Consumer & Retail portfolio, supporting the brand with its national communications strategy development, media relations, influencer engagement, social media strategy and events.

Comprising 17 different products, Australian Distilling Co.’s range of spirits are inspired by different cities and regions across Australia, embracing flavours and ingredients characteristic to the area.

After successfully launching the inaugural Melbourne boutique, Kate & Co. PR is thrilled to continue the agency’s relationship with Désordre profiling founder, Shannon Thomas, and driving coverage of the high-end fashion destination.

Further bolstering the agency’s Luxury portfolio is the addition of luxury ‘re-commerce’ site, Luxe.It.Fwd. The agency is working with Luxe.It.Fwd in an ongoing retainer capacity to secure media coverage, establish influencer relationships and drive awareness of the brand, founder Miranda Gillespie and Luxe. It. Fwd’s important place in the circular fashion economy.

Australia’s favourite colourful socks Happy Socks, sustainable clothing range and ethical fashion boutique, Abbie James and conscious fashion label Rooh Collective will be joining the Kate & Co. PR Fashion Showroom.

The agency’s Events division will also support the launch of Abbie James’ first retail store in Fitzroy, housing ethical, sustainable fashion brands including Abbie James, Rutt, Local Supply, Lois Hazel, Madre Natura, Underprotection, Del Villar, Unikspace, Official Rebrand, Silk Laundry, Rbcca Kstr and Lil’ Knits.

Kate & Co. PR also welcomes sustainable skincare brand, OneSummer Skincare, back to the agency’s growing Beauty portfolio on an ongoing retainer basis to drive media relations and influencer engagement.

Lastly, after working with award winning finance, mortgage broking and property advisory firm Entourage on their annual Ladies Lunch in 2021 and 2022, Kate & Co. PR has been appointed to work with the team to drive ongoing media coverage and build the profiles of Directors, Damien Roylance and Antoinette Sagaria.

Due to this recent client growth, Kate & Co. PR has welcomed new senior account director, Hannah O’Loughlin, to the agency. Hannah has contracted to Kate & Co. PR for the past six months and now permanently joins the agency to support the growth of the agency’s Beauty portfolio.

Hannah has over 15 years experience in both the Australian and European PR market, specifically in the beauty and wellness category. She has previously worked as the Account Director on The Body Shop and Sephora among multiple other beauty brands including Marc Jacobs, Ole Henriksen, Nip+Fab, Zoeva, Kat Von D and Ouai.

Kate & Co. PR managing director, Kate Keane, said, “We have attracted a raft of new business over the past six months – it’s wonderful to see so many high-profile and innovative brands recognising our offering, results driven team and standing in the industry’

Kate & Co. PR’s successful podcast, The Press Office, also launched season 2 in early May kicking off with interviews featuring the agency’s Managing Director, Kate Keane, celebrity stylist, Donny Gallela, radio producer, Sacha French and businesswoman and influencer, Emma Hawkins. The Press Office is available on all podcast streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
