Global adtech company Quantcast has appointed Jacquelyn ‘JC’ Cowardin as its head of account management for Australia and New Zealand.
Cowardin joins Quantcast with more than 15 years’ experience across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets. Most recently, she was employed at George P. Johnson ANZ, where she led its audience acquisition division for the past two and a half years.
Quantcast APAC managing director Andrew Double said: “JC brings a unique set of skills and experience to Quantcast working across customer acquisition to digital media on the agency side, and she will be a valuable addition to our team and resource for our clients.
“JC joins Quantcast at an exciting time: we have recently launched the Quantcast Platform, which brings together our measurement and insights, programmatic advertising, privacy and consent management into a single unified, easy-to-use, media-cost-transparent platform that allows advertisers and media agencies to easily and fully plan and execute campaigns.
“It’s an exciting period of growth for Quantcast in the ANZ region.”
Commenting on her new role, Cowardin said: “Having worked with Quantcast on the agency side since 2014, I have always trusted the company’s digital media solutions and the value it provides to unearth new and relevant audiences for brands.
“I’m thrilled to represent the company not only in this role but as an ambassador of Quantcast’s technology and vision for growth.
“In an extremely dynamic and fast-paced ad tech world, I’m confident in the platform solutions that Quantcast has brought to the market and its advanced technology that allows agencies and marketers to have conviction in the quality, scale, and delivery of their media investments.”
Cowardin began her career at Carat in Atlanta, United States, followed by OMD, 22Squared, CP+B, and gyro across the US.
On moving to Australia in 2016, she was group business director ANZ at Merkle’s DWA. Cowardin brings a multifaceted perspective to the industry that integrates disciplines across digital media, audience acquisition, and full-funnel marketing.
She is a 2017 scholar recipient of the Marketing Academy Australia. In 2019 Cowardin was recognised as a finalist in the Australian Event Awards for Marketing Achievement.
Cowardin joined Quantcast in April 2021.
