transferwise head of anz product Christine sou
When Christine Sou first joined TransferWise as head of ANZ product in August 2018, she was given the mandate of growing the team from 35 to 50 and ensuring all product launches in the region were a success. Under her leadership TransferWise has been able to launch a multiple-currency account for Australia and New Zealand, with numerous bank integrations.
She is also one of two leads of the Singapore chapter of Women in Product, a global non-profit organisation that empowers women in product management. In this role, she has grown the group from nothing to over 200 members and organised 10 events in 2019, which included speakers such as Gibson Biddle, previously the VP of Product at Netflix, and Silvia Thom, the CTOat Zalora.
canva director of product georgia vidler
2019 marked an important year for Canva and its director of product Georgia Vidler. As well as serving as the overarching product lead for Canva 2.0 – the company’s most important software update to date – Vidler also worked to identify market opportunities for new features, including the development and successful launch of Canva for Education. This is the company’s first foray into the education sector, catering to K-12 schools worldwide.
As Product lead, Vidler brought Canva’s intuitive drag-and-drop design tools into a rich and authentic learning experience to empower teachers and students to create and collaborate, featuring classroom-friendly templates, an all-new collaboration space, a review workflow, version history, COPPA and FERPA certification, plus so much more.
Tyro Head of Digital Channels Kimberly Dowsett
As the company’s head of digital channels, Kimberly Dowsett is responsible for all things Digital Channel Management, UX Design, Customer Research and Product Marketing at fintech Tyro. Under Dowsett’s guidance, Tyro has been able to quadruple its active users through the delivery of a number of value-adding banking products & solutions to the Tyro App. This has helped the business to continue to scale.
With over 20 years experience in banking and technology, Dowsett is eager to share her knowledge and experience with the future generation. She was recently invited to participate as a mentor in The Trenches program and as a result mentored six individuals in 2019. She is also an active participant of the Women of Tyro initiative and also mentors four women internally as part of its mentoring initiative.
Foxtel Media Head of Addressable Advertising & Data Commercialisation Greer Ambrose
Last year Foxtel Media’s Greer Ambrose was given the task of transforming one of the company’s most vital online assets, Foxtel Now. This saw her responsible for designing and executing the strategy for the flagship streaming product. Under her guidance, Foxtel Now was re-invigorated with a revamped product strategy and evolution of user experience, growth, editorial and more.
As well as her leadership on the Foxtel Now project, Ambrose was also tasked with planning and executing the strategy for one of the biggest television events ever – the Game of Thrones season finale. Following her success on this project and the Foxtel Now redevelopment, Ambrose was promoted to a new role at Foxtel Media and closed out 2019 working across Foxtel and Kayos complete product portfolio as the Head of Addressable Advertising and Data Commercialisation.
SiteMinder Chief Product Officer Inga Latham
Through 2019, SiteMinder chief product officer Inga Latham was tresponsible for scaling the company’s product organisation. This involved growing the team from four designers to 12 and from six product owners to 14. She also introduced a Product Operations function which drives continuous improvement in Product Delivery from Research through to Delivery/Evaluation.
Latham also worked to reframe SiteMinder’s product deliver framework. Previously, the company’s product teams operated in silos, resulting in a varied user experience. Under the new framework introduced by Latham, SiteMinder is now able to allow cross-functional teams to work closely together to deliver more integrated products.
Telstra Product Owner Sarah Anderson
As the Product Owner of Hybrid and Public Cloud Services globally for Telstra, Sarah Anderson leads a team responsible for Public Cloud, Data Centre, Telstra Cloud Sight and Telstra Apps Marketplace.
With more and more customers moving to cloud for varying purposes, most now opt for a multicloud approach. Based on this, Anderson and her team have focused on bringing this shift to multicloud along with the cloud networking into a single and simple experience. The strategy was to deliver this experience of ‘one point of call’ and provide flexibility for customers to manage these services on their own, or leverage Telstra’s expertise.
