McDonald’s has long had to fend off accusations (and even lawsuits) that the juicy burgers in its slick marketing campaigns look nothing like the actual burgers in your take-away bag.
The super-styled and succulent Big Mac in the company’s advertising promos belying the soggy, cold collapsed lettucey thing you’re handed at the Drive Thru counter.
And a new Instagram account is gaining traction that now enables disgruntled Macca’s customers to post pictures of their very own burger calamities.
Called @Mcsenget, the account was created by a bunch of friends in Singapore who were constantly bemused by the state of their Macca’s meals. The “Mc” standing for McDonald’s and “senget” the Malay word for tilted.
What began as a bit of a social media gag now has 14,000 followers from around the global. Enthusiasts posting their own burger disasters and even branching out beyond just McDonald’s to publicly out other lazy fast food chains. Check out some of the burger abominations below:

Such as been the site’s success, its creators have even released a range of merchandise, including T-shirts and stickers, designed as a sort of warped tribute to their love of McDonald’s and its seemingly lazy staff.
One of the creators of @Mcsenget, Ben Chia, 27, telling Vice: “That is something we are quite proud of. I’m glad that this is something that people appreciate. And, you know, sometimes it helps us relax a little bit to not take things too seriously.”
