Impressive Digital Turns Three & Opens USA Office In Austin, Texas

Australian digital marketing agency, Impressive, has turned three and with that, has expanded into the US.
Impressive had an annual turnover this year close to $10 million and is one of Australia’s fastest growing digital marketing agencies specialising in search engine optimisation, Facebook advertising and search engine marketing, with clients including fashion label Misha Collection, Mitre10, T2, Cooper Tyres and digiDIRECT.
Impressive was launched in March 2016 by Robert Tadros, a former Sensis employee, who left a lucrative career managing a $10 million portfolio, to launch the business.
The foundation of Impressive is simple: a focus on leads, sales and revenue for clients.
A founding client was the well-known Australian fashion label, Misha Collection, who Impressive are now helping achieve success in international markets, including the USA.
Impressive CEO and founder, Robert Tadros said: “When I started the business I was working 20-22 hour days and ended up in a sleeping bag most nights on the office floor.
“After 6 months I hired my first staff member, Nicole, who is still with the business today and is an example of why we have been successful so quickly.
“I am surrounded by an amazing team who have been instrumental to the results we achieve for our clients and who have helped make it possible for me to achieve my big vision of expanding internationally”.
Tadros and key team members have spent the past twelve months planning the international expansion, which included physical visits to source an office location and extensive phone and digital research to review the existing, local offer.
Tadros said: “The overheads associated with opening an international office are high so we needed to make sure we did our due diligence when it came to understanding what the local market offers in our space.
“As a result we are are confident that our offer will exceed all expectations around customer service, personalization of strategy and shake up the market.
“Our international office will also support a number of our existing, Australian clients as they scale their businesses overseas”.
Impressive’s current senior digital sales strategist, Russ Macumber, will head up the USA operation and has relocated, with his wife and four children, to Austin, Texas, where Impressive’s offices will be based.
Tadros added: “Russ has been on the team for a number of years and understands the value of culture in driving our business operations and delivering results for clients.
“He also has significant experience working with global brands and I am excited to have him leading our USA team”.
Impressive USA GM, Russ Macumber said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the next chapter of Impressive in Austin.
“With its buzzing tech scene and progressive business climate, this is the perfect home base for us to deliver results on the ground in the US.
“Texans are renowned for their welcoming hospitality, so I’m pumped to share this adventure with my family”.
