Meditation brand Imeditate has tapped Justin Ruben’s Oblong Creative to launch a new campaign encouraging Australians to stop overthinking and start meditating.
The campaign consists of outdoor as well as water bottles and T-shirts, which are being used as a marketing tool handed out to offices as a way to encourage them to give meditation at one of Imeditate’s centres a try.
Modern life and the advent of technology have led to an increase in worries and concerns. These negative thoughts, no matter how small, plague our minds, leading to overthinking, which can have a negative impact on people’s health. Research shows that 88 per cent of things we worry about actually don’t happen, and if they do, they’re better than were anticipated.
Imeditate’s centres are staffed by meditation experts who teach audiences the fundamentals of meditation, suitable for both beginners and advanced. The centres are located in the CBD – office workers can come after work, allowing them to have a clear mind before heading home.
“This campaign is aimed at showing that everyone can benefit from meditation. Small things that may seem trivial can overtake our thoughts and stop us from living life fully. We want to help stop this. We love the work Oblong has done, putting a modern slant on the world of meditation,” Gabrielle Martin, manager for Imeditate, said.
“We wanted to give Imeditate a modern look and feel and move away from the hippie vibes associated with the world of meditation. We feel the type and colours combined with the modern subject matter achieve this,” Justin Ruben, CCO and founder of Oblong, added.
Imeditate has centres in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Oblong is the creative venture started by creative Justin Ruben.
