New Zealand research platform has appointed Clemenger BBDO’s comms lead Lindsay Bennett as global communications and content lead.
Bennett will work closely with global head of marketing, Michaela Egbers, to define the company’s brand direction, strengthen its reputation and drive awareness across new and existing regions.
Bennett joins from Clemenger BBDO, where she was head of brand and communications, and brings extensive global communications and marketing leadership experience in Australia and the US.
At Clems she led the agency’s and repositioning following the integration of Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network, and Traffik.
Previously, she served as VP of corporate communications at GALE in New York, where she led marketing, communications, and new business efforts across North America. During her tenure, GALE was named Ad Age A-List Agency and Adweek Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year.
A former journalist, Lindsay also held the role of global head of marketing at DDB, where she led the network’s first global repositioning and oversaw communications across 149 offices worldwide.
“Lindsay is an exceptional communicator who understands how to build momentum through storytelling,” said Egbers. “Her ability to connect brand narrative to business growth will be invaluable as we expand Ideally’s global footprint.”
“I’m excited to join Ideally at such a pivotal moment,” said Bennett. “This is the type of company that is defining what’s next for marketing, combining technology, creativity and insights to help brands grow smarter. I can’t wait to share that story on the global stage.”
Bennett’s appointment follows Ideally’s recent North American launch and the addition of Nikkia Reveillac, former global head of research at Twitter and head of brand and reputation insights at Netflix, as fractional chief brand and strategy officer.
