Got2b, the hair styling brand renowned for championing bold self-expression, has returned as the official hair styling partner for Mardi Gras 2026. Marking its second consecutive year, Got2b is expanding its footprint across Mardi Gras events, reinforcing its mission to ensure every individual feels “glammed, styled, and slick” throughout the celebrations.

This initiative was delivered in close collaboration between Wavemaker and WPP Media Sport & Entertainment, leading strategy and partnerships, and Maverick, whose production expertise brought the brand’s creativity to life.

Upgrading to a major partner this year, Got2b will feature its own show-stopping float in the iconic 48th annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, bringing its signature bold flair directly to the heart of the festivities.

The brand has also enhanced its Fair Day Experience. Got2b’s popular glitter styling station returned, supercharged with a new Rainbow Runway for guests to strut their stuff and capture their fabulous looks with an integrated photobooth. Attendees were encouraged to glam up by none other than the queen, Misty Delray.

The partnership also includes wider event integration beyond the main event. Got2b contributed its vibrant “rainbow range” of products to other key Mardi Gras events, including the inaugural Mardi Gala Ball and Black Cherry, empowering guests to express themselves with confidence and style at every turn.

“We are absolutely thrilled to deepen our commitment to self-expression and inclusivity being the Official Hair Styling Partner of Mardi Gras for a second year,” said Helena Ramirez, Got2b brand manager.

“Our brand ethos, ‘For whoever U want 2 B!’, perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Mardi Gras – a vibrant celebration of individuality, self-expression, and the incredible LGBTQIA+ community. This year, we’re going bigger and better, bringing even more opportunities for everyone to showcase their unique style and truly shine.”

“Having Got2b return as our Official Hair Styling Partner for a second year is incredibly exciting, and we are particularly thrilled to see their expanded presence,” stated Jesse Matheson, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras CEO.

“Their dedication to fostering individuality and self-expression aligns seamlessly with Mardi Gras’ core values. Got2b’s activations, from the Rainbow Runway to their inaugural parade float, will undoubtedly add an extra layer of sparkle and empowerment to our celebrations, ensuring our community feels their absolute best.”

This renewed and expanded partnership underscores Got2b’s unwavering alignment with the spirit of Pride and its deep support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

“Got2b’s energy is a perfect match for Mardi Gras: bold, unapologetic and full of personality. We’re excited to help power their bigger‑than‑ever presence in 2026, bringing together creativity, culture and community,” concluded Daniella Kinda, content and partnerships manager at Wavemaker.

“At WPP Media, we believe media is everywhere and in everything, and when brands show up in the right cultural moments with intention, the opportunities for connection are limitless. Got2b’s expanded partnership this year is exactly the kind of energy and self‑expression we love to help bring to life through our Sport & Entertainment capability.”
