Research technology company Glow has appointed Derek Brown as its managing Director for Asia Pacific as it aims to boost its growing commercial portfolio.
Based in Sydney, Brown (featured image) will be responsible for driving Glow’s commercial growth in Australia and across the region.
Brown brings over two decades of experience in the market research industry to Glow, most recently as the general manager for sales at Bastion Collective’s data collection business, Stable Research, and prior to that, as vice president for Australia and New Zealand at Dynata (formerly Research Now SSI).
Tim Clover, founder and CEO of Glow said they were looking for a senior executive with the right skill and experience set to catapult the business’ expansion plans across the region.
Clover said: “Derek brings a wealth of research industry experience to the table, not only in management but also in sales and operational skills.
“That’s rare and incredibly valuable to our organisation and the direction in which we are heading.
“We are thrilled to welcome him onboard.”
Brown said: “Having worked with Glow in previous roles and admired the powerful yet intuitive and user-friendly platform from the sidelines, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to take the reins at such an important time in the company’s growth.
“This is not only a great product but the team we’re building to develop and support it is well and truly up to the task. We really will be raising the industry bar in terms of service and product quality.”
