Froomes Is Still Not Dating Warnie, Even After Buying A Billboard To Get His Attention

Comedian and influencer Froomes (aka Lucinda Price) combined both dating and marketing when she bought a billboard in an attempt to get ex-cricketer Shane Warne’s attention.

Froome’s bought the billboard in January this year and it was placed right in the middle of Melbourne CBD,  reading: “Attn Spin King, Your Queen is Awaiting.”

In a classic marketing move, the billboard also included the comedian’s social media handle.

Froomes has long shared her love for the cricketer online.

Froomes told the podcast Good Bitch this week that the gesture did not secure her a date with the infamous cricketer.

Good Bitch Hosts, Jules Rangiheuea and Jodie Clarke (pictured above) enquired about Froomes relationship with the Warne.

“I now know that he loves it… He’s down for it, whether that’s with me I’m not sure,” Froomes said.

However, it did succeed in building her own profile.

Froomes’ Instagram post about the billboard received over 32 thousand views and seven thousand likes on the social media platform.

The billboard also landed her a mention in The Australian Financial Review.

Froomes may not be a dating genius just yet, but she might be a marketing one.

As the old saying goes, if you can’t get a date with a famous cricketer, focus on your own PR.
