In less than 6 weeks, the world turn its eyes to Northern Italy as the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 begin. Australians will be able to experience every moment on every screen, through Nine’s ecosystem of the 9 Network, 9Now, and Stan Sport.
With coverage beginning on February 4 with the Let The Games Begin! preview show, Nine will broadcast the Opening Ceremony on February 7 to kick off 16 days of adrenaline-filled action.
Australia is fielding a team of nearly 60 athletes, including freestyle skier Jakara Anthony and snowboarder Scotty James, who are among the favourites in their respective events.
Leading the 9Network’s live and free coverage, Ally Langdon and James Bracey will host from Nine’s alpine studio in Livigno, alongside Leila McKinnon and Todd Woodbridge. In Sydney, Sylvia Jeffreys and Dylan Alcott will anchor mornings, supported by 9News reporting across Livigno, Milan and Cortina.

Every morning, 9Now will be the destination for green-and-gold supporters, with all the Aussie moments and highlights from overnight events. Stan Sport will stream the Winter Olympics, featuring every sport and every feed live and on demand, with every medal event in 4K Ultra HD.
With coverage spanning all 16 disciplines and 116 medal events, fans can choose from 15 exclusive individual sport channels, plus two dedicated feature and news channels offering continuous updates, analysis and highlights.
Returning after its success at Paris 2024, Stan Sport will also feature exclusive international broadcast feeds, including Eurosport’s two Italian channels and UK channel courtesy of Warner Brothers Discovery, plus live coverage from Sky New Zealand, giving fans even greater access to global commentary and perspective.
