Jordan Shanks (aka FriendlyJordies) is currently being sued by NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro for defamation; however, that hasn’t stopped Shanks from posting another youtube video condemning the Deputy Premier.
The 10-minute video posted on 16 August on the FriendlyJordies YouTube channel is titled, He’s Destroying Australia. The video features Shanks making jokes about Barilaro’s barrister, impersonating Barilaro and alleging that the NSW Deputy doesn’t like National Parks.
The video’s focus is on Barilaro and the potential development of Kosciuszko National Park. Shanks appears to be firmly against the development.
Shanks said: “Now, I know. He is suing me for defo because I said a bunch of true shit about him.
“So, I’m going to have to pick my words very carefully but, the next thing I’m about to say is so true that even John’s barrister, who’s so good at her job, she’s genetically predisposed for it. She is named after what she does, Sue Chrysanthou, middle name – anyone for anything.
“Sue, before you think of suing me for that joke, you’d prove that incredibly trivial joke is 100 per cent correct.
“The statement is, John Barilaro detests National Parks.”
The posting of the video is bold considering Barilaro is currently suing Shanks over two videos he posted on his FriendyJordies Youtube channel, Bruz, and Secret Dictatorship.
In response, Shanks has managed to raise over $1 million dollars in crowdsourcing for his defence and he has received a ton of public support.
However, Shanks recently had his defence of truth and honest opinion denied by the judge presiding on the case and now has only two weeks to come up with an alternative.
Clearly, he is making good use of his time. He’s Destroying Australia, has received over 200,000 views.
