Born Creators Group has appointed Jamie Fairfield as its country director, Australia, as it continues its rapid expansion across strategy, creative, social, events, media, technology and production.
Fairfield joins most recently from Bastion and brings extensive experience across agency leadership, integrated communications, business development and commercial strategy.
In her new role, she will oversee Australian operations across the Group’s four agencies locally, Adcreators, Endspace, Social Street and Events Unlimited, leading strategic growth, client partnerships and national expansion across the market.
The appointment comes at a major growth point for Born Creators Group, with the business continuing to expand nationally and internationally while evolving beyond the traditional agency structure.
Born Creators managing partner, Sive Buckley, said: “bringing Jamie into the business was a deliberate move as the Group scales at speed”.
Buckley and Fairfield previously worked together at WPP for four years across major client accounts and integrated campaigns.
“She is one of the few people in this industry that genuinely understands business beyond traditional marketing,” said Buckley.
“We are growing at a serious rate across multiple markets and sectors, and bringing Jamie in was about having someone I trust beside me as we move into this next phase. She understands the level we operate at, the ambition we have for the Group and where we want to take the business over the next few years.”
Buckley said the Group is continuing to build a model designed around modern business challenges rather than traditional agency silos.
“The traditional agency model is broken. Clients are over disconnected thinking, bloated structures and agencies that only understand one piece of the puzzle,” she said.
“What we’ve built at Born Creators Group is very different. We’ve created an ecosystem where strategy, creative, media, social, events, production and technology all work together in a way that actually makes sense for modern brands.”
“We like moving fast, thinking commercially and getting things done properly without the layers, politics and unnecessary process that slows this industry down. Jamie operates the same way. We’re building something with real momentum and we’re ready to continue shaking shit up.”
Fairfield said the opportunity to join Born Creators Group came at the right time professionally, particularly given the Group’s integrated structure and momentum.
“What attracted me most was the ambition and the clarity around where the business is heading,” Fairfield said.
“Born Creators Group has built something genuinely different, the model is integrated, agile and commercially focused in a way that reflects what clients actually need today.”
Fairfield said reconnecting professionally with Buckley was also a major factor in her decision to join the business.
“Sive and I have always shared a similar mindset around standards, ambition and the type of work and partnerships worth building,” she said.
“There’s a huge amount of trust there, and stepping into this role felt like a very natural next step given the momentum of the Group and the opportunity ahead.”
“What excites me most is the scale of what’s possible from here,” Fairfield added.
“Businesses today need partners who understand more than channels and outputs. They need teams who can think strategically across the entire customer and business ecosystem. Born Creators Group is incredibly well-positioned for that, and I’m excited to be part of what comes next.”
