Trading and wealth fintech Openmarkets Group (OMG) has appointed Max Bonpain as its chief marketing officer.
A senior marketing executive with extensive expertise in fintech, Bonpain brings more than 25 years’ experience leading marketing functions for multinational organisations based in Australia and Europe, with expertise in brand-building, product launches, and entry into new markets.
He was most recently group head of marketing at ASX-listed Complii FinTech Solutions, where he led marketing programs across all business units.
Prior to this, he has held senior marketing roles at well-known brands including Telstra, Microsoft, Unilever, Samsung Electronics and IBM.
As Openmarkets Group CMO, Bonpain is responsible for elevating the Group’s profile through growth-focused marketing initiatives as it pursues a growth strategy focused on bolstering its wealth, finance and custody offering, seeking strategically aligned M&A opportunities, and expanding into overseas markets.
