Independent Australian digital marketing agency Neon Treehouse has appointed Katherine So and Wendy Pham as digital media managers, bringing experience from OMD and Wavemaker to its Melbourne and Adelaide teams.
So joins the agency’s Melbourne office after five years at OMD APAC, where she worked on Apple’s digital media activity in the region, while Pham brings nearly two years of experience at Wavemaker to Neon Treehouse’s Adelaide team.
So’s work at OMD included the launch of the Apple Online Store in Vietnam, regional Back to School campaigns and activity supporting Apple’s iPhone, iPad, AirPods and Apple Watch product ranges.
With experience across paid social, search and programmatic advertising, she will work with Neon Treehouse clients including SuperConcepts, National Windscreen Group, AAG, Can Group and Brands Direct Online.
The move will see So expand her experience from brand awareness and consideration campaigns into more conversion-focused digital activity.
“After five years working on Apple across Asia-Pacific, I’m excited to take what I’ve learned and apply it to a completely different mix of brands and business challenges,” So said.
Pham brings experience across media planning, buying, implementation and optimisation, having worked on campaigns for national and international brands, South Australian government initiatives and major state events.
Her background spans tourism, automotive, financial services, health, higher education, arts and sport, with particular strengths in Google Ads and Meta advertising.
At Neon Treehouse, she will manage campaigns for clients including Wine Australia, Experience Adelaide, Gallery Living, Atlas Living, Mistral and ResourceCo.
Currently based in Adelaide, Pham will transition to the agency’s Melbourne office in early 2027.
“I’m looking forward to working more closely with clients to understand what they’re trying to achieve and how we can make their media investment work harder for them,” Pham said.
The appointments follow the recent promotion of Camila Rahde to Digital Media Director, alongside senior appointments across Neon Treehouse’s strategy and account management teams.
Neon Treehouse CEO Joshua White said the new hires would bring experience from major international media networks into the independent agency, strengthening its digital media capabilities.
“Katherine and Wendy have worked across very different campaigns and industries, and that’s a real strength,” White said.
“They bring new perspectives, strong technical skills and an appetite to keep learning, which is exactly the kind of thinking we want in our media team.”
White said the appointments reflected the growing importance of combining technical expertise with strategic thinking and an understanding of client objectives as digital media becomes more complex.
