Creative communications agency Flourish has won the public relations, creative content and social media account for Melbourne’s Avalon Airport.
Flourish will be responsible for taking the brand to new heights and creating awareness to the many great and unknown benefits that come with travelling via Avalon Airport, owned by the Linfox Group.
Working as an extension of its marketing and communications team, Flourish will develop and implement a high impact strategy to drive brand awareness and create further foot traffic for the airport located 50KMs from Melbourne CBD.
The new appointment coincides with Avalon Airport’s next generation of growth, with its first flight from Bali with Citilink Indonesia touching down in late January. The business has also enlisted one of Australia’s most loved personalities, Shane Jacobson to spearhead its marketing campaign in 2020.
Flourish’s managing director Angela Ceberano said: “This year, Flourish is celebrating 10 years in business. When I look back at what we have achieved in the last decade, this new appointment is up there as one of my proudest moments. The team and I are passionate about the aviation and travel industries and we are excited to be on board the next phase of Avalon Airport’s journey.
“Brands and businesses today are hungry for a more diverse offering from their agency partners. We pride ourselves in creating and delivering integrated strategies and our no-nonsense approach across PR, content and social media means we can ensure Avalon Airport is communicating its messages and stories in a strong, clear and consistent manner across multiple channels.”
Avalon Airport executive chairman David Fox said: “We are pleased to welcome Flourish to the Avalon Airport family. There is no other agency like Flourish, who have already delivered excellent results for our business.
“Our priority is to provide holidaymakers with a much easier and cheaper option to travel both internationally and interstate. We have so many exciting announcements to come in the next two years and to have Flourish alongside us on this journey means we’re in very good hands.”
