It’s certainly the calm before the storm here in Melbourne but the B&T Awards remain very much on this evening.
The gala event, which is the culmination of the year for professionals in advertising, media and marketing, will be held at The Peninsula, Docklands with doors opening from 6pm.
Editor in chief and publisher, David Hovenden said, “Having consulted with the production company, the venue and organisers we have been assured that tonight’s night of nights for the advertising, media and marketing industry will be unaffected”
Hovenden continued, “We do understand that some people’s travel plans will be affected and we sympathise with those who might be unable to make it, but at this stage being so close to the actual event occurring, cancellation is not an option with so many people already in Melbourne ready to attend.”
B&T wishes the best of luck to all entrants and attendees and we urge people to travel safely.
