Facebook has just announced that more than 2 million active advertisers are using the platform to reach their audience. That’s up from 1.5 million roughly half a year ago and 1 million a year-and-a-half ago. In addition to this and to better support SMB owners, Facebook is introducing Ads Manager app, a new way for businesses to manage their ad campaigns on the go, through their mobile.
Over 13 million Australians are actively using Facebook to connect with all the people that matter to them, every day, everywhere. When businesses have a strong presence on Facebook they have an opportunity to be part of these conversations. Small businesses are also increasingly advertising on Facebook because it drives sales. While other forms of advertising – print, TV, radio – can be expensive and hard to measure, Facebook ads reach the exact customers small businesses want to reach – for less money and great returns.
Below are three reasons more businesses are turning to Facebook to grow:
- Easy – Facebook’s tools are easier than ever to use. Of newly acquired advertisers in Q4 2014, 80% used our easiest ad tools, particularly promoted posts.
- Mobile – The consumer shift to mobile is making more business owners want to use Facebook’s mobile tools to reach customers and manage their businesses. For instance, over 15M SMBs use our Pages Manager app to manage their Pages on mobile.
- Effective – We’ve proven to businesses that our ads work: we want to make sure that every dollar they spend with us improves their bottom line. Tools like conversion tracking have accelerated better measurement for SMBs.
