Google has announced its new ‘Events in Search’ feature, developed in collaboration with Eventbrite, going live in Australia today.
This new feature gives Aussies personal recommendations and key information about Eventbrite events in Search and marks the expansion of Eventbrite’s continuing partnership with Google.
Starting today, when you search on your phone for things like “events near me” or “free concert,” new features will give Aussies personal recommendations, along with more information about events that may interest you.
Whether you’re in Sydney, Hobart or Darwin, you’ll find a list of events from a variety of sites, including Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, Timeout, Concrete Playground – and also key information about the event, right on Search.
Eventbrite’s general manager, APAC, Phil Silverstone commented on the launch: “Whether you’re in the mood for a live music gig, a yoga class or a theatre show, Eventbrite and Google will help you find a diverse array of live experiences happening in your neighbourhood.
“The launch of this exciting new feature marks the expansion of Eventbrite’s partnership with Google as we continue our quest to connect even more Aussies with the very best live experiences our country has to offer.”
