We at B&T are proud to announce that the Women* Leading Tech Awards, presented by Atlassian, are returning for the fourth year.

The Women Leading Tech Awards recognise and celebrate the brilliant female tech talent in our industry, and if the last three years are anything to go by, there’s no shortage of it.

The talented, creative and inspiring women we saw in this year’s awards program were in a league of their own, and you deserve to join them in 2023!

If you haven’t already, check out the highlights from this year’s Women Leading Tech Awards:

Coming into 2023, we’re not slowing down in our commitment to the needed change in the heavily male-dominated tech industry by putting women at the helm of the conversation. Watch this space because we have some exciting announcements in the pipeline as part of this charge.

And yes, for some reason, gender parity in the technology, media, and telecom sector is still a conversation that is needed. Like, yesterday.

According to McKinsey:

“Women hold only 34 per cent of entry-level engineering and product roles and just 26 per cent of first-level manager positions.”

What’s more?

“Across all industries and roles, women are promoted at a slower rate than men. Indeed, only 86 women are promoted to manager for every 100 men at the same level… But the gender gap for women in technical roles is more pronounced, with only 52 women being promoted to manager for every 100 men.”

Whatever the condensing catchphrase is, ‘Concrete ceiling’, ‘broken rung’,  it needs to change.

That’s why we’re honoured to salute another year of outstanding achievements by the Aussie women leading tech.

We can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to. Get started on your submission HERE.
