Storytelling agency Enthral has appointed Channel 7 reporter and sports presenter Sean Sowerby as its new senior PR and content manager in Melbourne.
Sowerby (pictured) started his award-winning career at 3AW before spending more than 15 years in television.
Enthral founder and manager director, Cameron Smith, spoke of the significance of Sowerby joining the agency.
“Since day one, we have maintained our position of a team that has spent more time in newsrooms than boardrooms; Sean becoming part of our team only reinforces that,” Smith said.
“Sean is a natural storyteller, and his experience is invaluable given we’re an integrated agency. Sean has the ability to craft an earned media story, pitch it to his trusted contacts and get results; while at the same time can produce compelling owned content as well.”
The new appointment is in response to Enthral’s latest PR wins including APM Group – a leading global human services and healthcare organisation, Slim Secrets and Australian Biotechnology company, Vernx.
“We feel privileged to be able to tell the stories of these incredible organisations and brands,” Smith said.
