Engaging.io Appoints Blockchain Specialist To Lead Business Development

Technology and digital agency Engaging.io has appointed Siva Gounder as senior business development manager as the independent agency continues to invest in technology.

Gounder joins Engaging.io from CRDZ, a decentralised platform addressing issues preventing widespread adoption of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

For more than two years he was charged with developing blockchain partnerships and marketing.

Prior to that he was director of operations and marketing strategy at Weezo, the first end-to-end property marketplace for real estate buyers and sellers.

He has also held senior positions at digital marketing services agency Scorch iProspect and co-founded Search Found Digital.

At Engaging.io Gounder will be responsible for developing new opportunities, in particular attracting new clients needing systems development and integration, or wanting to develop public and private blockchains.

Engaging.io is currently developing two blockchains, the first which is due to launch before the end of the year, in addition to its ongoing work in human-centred digital strategy, design and development.

Engaging.io CEO Michelle O’Keeff said: “Siva’s extensive experience makes him ideally suited to drive new business for the agency at a time where marketing automation, digital transformation and transparency are high on the agendas of businesses leaders.

“In addition, his expertise in blockchain technology will be invaluable as we continue to develop these solutions for clients.”

Gounder added: “The opportunities to drive new business is significant given the depth of talent within Engaging.io and the fact their developers are in-house and not off-shored as with many other agencies.

“I’m looking forward to working with Michelle and the rest of the team to continue growing this exciting business.”

Engaging.io was started in 2009 and works with clients including 20th Century Fox and Shangri-la Hotels, Cancer Council Australia and Aircalin.

Gounder starts in the role on Monday.
