denstu has promoted SA group investment director Adele Gibb (lead aimge) to managing director South Australia.
dentsu South Australia is a uniquely South Australian business, working with clients under the primary media agency brand Carat to develop never before solutions for clients that drive business growth.
Gibb has been with Carat Adelaide for three and a half years, with an extensive background in sales and strong relationships with South Australia’s clients and media partners.
Danny Bass, CEO media, dentsu ANZ, said: “Adele Gibb is the exact right person to take Carat Adelaide into its next phase of growth. Her appointment speaks to the strong talent pipeline in place in that business and Adele is passionate, highly engaged and focused on delivering never before results for our clients. Gibb said: “I am excited to take this next step of my career with Carat and dentsu. South Australia is a thriving market and I cannot wait to continue to deliver results for our clients and our state. I would like to thank my mentor Vikki Frisic for all her support over the years and wish her all the very best as she steps into her next role.”
Gibb replaces Vikki Friscic who finishes up with the business in April to join Seven Adelaide. “Vikki has been a powerhouse during her time with Carat South Australia and has taken the business to new heights. Under her leadership, SA has delivered outstanding results for our clients; built a team of passionate, highly engaged, and fiercely local media professionals, and strengthened our partnerships with Adelaide-based media owners. Speaking on behalf of the broader dentsu and Carat team, we’ll miss having Vik on the team but are equally excited to continue working with her through our partnership with Seven,” Bass said.
