Full service agency Huckleberry will close its doors this year. The strategic review of the agency comes as parent company Denstu Aegis makes a full strategic review.
The closure of Huckleberry is a result of:
- The recent acquisition of BWM and the subsequent launch of creative agency BWM Dentsu;
- The recent acquisition of Soap, now Soap – linked by Isobar;
- The Group’s strategic and operational imperative to ensure that all Dentsu Aegis Network agencies, their clients and staff are supported by innovation, thinking, capability, investment and the resources of the entire Dentsu Aegis Network.
From the statement issued by Dentsu: “Dentsu Aegis Network has conducted a strategic review of Huckleberry agency. As a result of this review and with discussions with clients and staff underway, it is expected that Huckleberry agency will discontinue its operations in 2015. Discussions will continue to take place with all clients and staff with a view to retaining all within the Dentsu Aegis Network.”
