AI-powered marketing platform Constant Contact has launched an SMS marketing tool for those in Australia, giving small business owners a direct line to their customers.
According to the platform, it comes as small businesses across the country are navigating “one of the toughest economic climates in recent memory”
Constant Contact SMS aims to change that.
“It gives Australian SMBs another tool in the kit to compete in an increasingly digital world. SMS works alongside email and social marketing and sits inside the same platform they already know,” the announcement read.
“With EOFY approaching, a single well-timed text to your customer list could be the difference between a sale and a missed opportunity.”
Renee Chaplin, VP of APAC at Constant Contact said: “Australian small businesses are resourceful, adaptable, and deeply connected to their customers.”
“In a tough economic climate, the businesses that grow are the ones that show up consistently and engage their customers where they are. SMS gives them another way to do exactly that.”
The lead-up to 30 June is one of the biggest trading periods on the Australian calendar, and SMS is one of the fastest ways to push final sales, shift remaining stock, and re-engage customers before the financial year closes.
Constant Contact SMS supports a wide range of use cases including flash promotions and sale alerts, last-minute appointment and booking reminders, loyalty messaging, customer re-engagement campaigns, and targeted outreach for key trading periods such as EOFY and seasonal peaks.
