Columbus, A Merkle Company Promotes Mitchell McBeath To National MD

Data-driven marketing agency Columbus, a Merkle Company, has announced the promotion of Mitchell McBeath to national managing director.

McBeath (pictured above, right) has been with Columbus for five years, most recently as general manager of NSW and Queensland.

Joining in 2013, McBeath has held several leadership roles across the Victoria, NSW and Western Australia markets. He will be charged with driving growth of the national business and nurturing a culture of precision and innovation to continue delivering value for clients.

The MD role has been reintroduced following agency and capability growth. Rebecca Tos (pictured above, left) will remain as CEO of the business, with an elevated focus on integrating Merkle’s capabilities into Columbus, with McBeath reporting into Tos.

Tos said: “We’re in an exciting and transformative period in our business, and during such a time we need strong client and team leadership, and diversity of thought, all which Mitch possesses in spades.

“I’m thrilled to see Mitch take on this role and continue to deliver meaningful business solutions for our clients.”

Commenting on  his appointment, McBeath said: “After being with the business for five years now, I’m very excited and humbled by the opportunity ahead.

“We have had incredible growth across Columbus in recent years and I am looking forward to working with our talented team to deliver even bigger results for our clients in 2018 and beyond.”
