While Australia’s poor performance against India in the cricket is no laughing matter, the national team’s Test captain has managed to provide some humour at a recent press conference.
Following a two-day batting masterclass by India to begin the fourth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Aussie skipper Tim Paine had the tough task of fronting the media and defending the team’s bowling attack late last week.
However, Paine soon had the room of reporters laughing after answering a ringing phone that was placed in front of him by a journalist (whose name turned out to be Martin) wanting to capture his every word.
