Carat Promotes Danni Wright To Head Of Strategy For Sydney

Dentsu Aegis Network-owned agency Carat has announced the promotion of Danni Wright to head of strategy for its Sydney office.

Wright, who has been with Carat for over 10 years, was previously group strategy director, leading a team of six working across the agency’s key clients, including Woolworths, Mastercard, Microsoft, and Virgin Australia.

Carat’s national chief strategy officer, Sam Hegg, said: “I’m thrilled that Danni is now officially leading our strategic function in such a critical market. Her commitment to improving both herself, those around her, and the agency’s collective output is unmatched.

“This is, in turn, leading to better outcomes for our clients, which I know is Danni’s true passion.”

Commenting on her promotion, Wright said: “I’ve experienced a great deal of personal and professional growth with Carat over the last 10 years – something that I’m sure is set to continue in my new role. Luckily, I will have an incredibly strong team and fantastic set of peers beside me as I navigate this new challenge.”

Wright’s promotion is effective immediately, and coincides with a shift in the broader business toward an even greater emphasis on communications strategy and planning.

Carat now has one of the largest dedicated strategic resources of any agency, with 20 strategists in five offices around the country.
