Samsung Ads Haus Opening Party
New for this year, Samsung Ads is running Samsung Ads Haus just a stone’s throw from the Cairns Convention Centre and next door to Hemingway’s Brewery, looking out onto Cairns’ beautiful wharf.
On Monday, Samsung Ads Haus will be opening its doors for an uber-exclusive Opening Party. Guests will be able to lounge by the wharf, mingle under the open sky and drink cocktails while the sun sets to live beats. We can’t think of many better ways to get in the Cannes in Cairns spirit!
Throughout the rest of the week, Samsung Ads Haus will be holding invite-only champagne breakfasts, a sunset sip session on Tuesday open to all and the invite-only Samsung Haus Martinis with MiQ.
Tripadvisor Welcome Party
Tripadvisor’s Welcome Party at Rocco won’t be attracting any bad reviews, given what’s in store for guests.
Rocco’s stunning panoramas and culinary prowess will provide the perfect setting for networking drinks, with the whole event serving as the perfect launchpad for Cannes in Cairns.
Cairns Crocodiles Awards Jury Dinner
The Cairns Crocodiles Awards, Presented by Pinterest, are set to be the new standard for APAC creativity awards shows.
Our highly influential and respected jurors will be winding down after the final round of judging with an invite-only dinner at the exceptional Ochre restaurant. Located next to Cairns’ beautiful wharf, the jury will be in for a treat with a delectable dinner and they’ll have plenty to talk about, speculating which brands and agencies will get their hands on the inaugural Cairns Crocodiles trophies.
Welcome to Boomtown Party
Rounding out our Cairns Extras on Monday is the Welcome to Boomtown Party. Being in Cairns, it’s only right that we recognise and celebrate regional Australia.
Boomtown will be taking over the Wolf Lane Distillery for a night of networking and getting to know a Population Unexpected whilst sipping on Wolf Lane’s glorious gins and life-changing liqueurs.

At Cannes in Cairns, Presented by Pinterest, we’re all about big names, big ideas and big spenders. But, it’s just as important that we pay it forward, too. Our official charity partners this year are Mission Australia and Citizens of the Reef.
