Two iconic Australian brands have gotten together for summer, with Budgy Smuggler and Jim’s Mowing bringing lawns, larrikins and swimwear into one very Aussie collaboration.

For the first time in its history, Jim’s Mowing has partnered with another brand on an official collaboration, teaming up Budgy Smuggler to create a limited edition collection made for the great Australian summer.

The collaboration brings together two brands with a shared understanding of what Australians love.

From mowing the front lawn to firing up the BBQ, heading to the beach or cracking a cold one after a hard day’s work, the Budgy Smuggler x Jim’s Mowing collection celebrates the everyday Australian summer.

“Jim’s Mowing and Budgy Smuggler are two brands that have become part of Australian culture in their own very different ways,” said Adam Linforth, chief smuggler of Budgy Smuggler

“This collaboration felt like a pretty natural fit. We wanted to create something fun, unmistakably Australian and something that people would actually want to wear.”

The collection takes the unmistakable branding of Jim’s Mowing and puts it into true Budgy Smuggler territory, creating a range that is as much about having a laugh as it is about looking after the backyard.

For Jim’s Mowing, the collaboration marks its first official brand partnership of its kind.

“Jim’s Mowing has been part of Australian backyards for decades, so teaming up with Budgy Smuggler for our first collaboration was a great opportunity to do something completely different,” said Joel Kleber CMO Jims Group.

“Summer is the perfect time to have some fun with the brand and Budgy Smuggler knows exactly how to do that.”

The collaboration is built around a simple idea: Australia works hard, so Australia should play hard too.

The collaboration is being amplified with a social media campaign.
