ME has tapped into a meme that has gone gangbusters on social media, featuring it in some clever posts on the bank’s Twitter and Facebook pages to promote its low-rate credit card.
The ‘Salt Bae’ meme originated from an Instagram post by Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe, which shows him slicing and seasoning steak.
Gökçe’s post took the social media world by storm, warranting a number of hilarious memes:
