The Movember Foundation will officially be the first charity to launch an exclusive docu-series through Instagram’s IGTV platform, with the premiere taking place on Saturday 4 August.
A new video will debut daily over five days, with each sharing the real-life challenges of men living with prostate and testicular cancer, and their experiences to maintain a positive quality of life.
The first video will feature Alonzo, a man living with prostate cancer treatment side effects including incontinence and erectile dysfunction, and the coaching skills he uses to work through it.
The IGTV docu-series is the first content to be released as part of Movember’s cheeky new Quality of Life campaign which lands on August 6.
The creative features nude men embracing life alongside the tagline‘It’s not just how long it is, it’s what you do with it’.
The campaign highlights that as more and more men are diagnosed with prostate and testicular cancer, a growing number are living with severe side effects which can affect sexual function, fertility, continence, relationships and even mental health.
The campaign aims to recognize that while we strive for better treatments, and ultimately a cure, we must also acknowledge quality of life as critically important – and address the challenges men face.
