German car brand Audi is pretty confident it can take on Tesla’s all-electric cars with the launch of its own all-electric model the E-Tron Quattro.
So much so, it’s taken to having pot shots at Tesla’s famed owner, Elon Musk, in its latest campaign that’s appearing on German billboards and social media pages.
Under the strap line “Musk Have”, Audi is pitching its all-electric marque at Tesla’s new Model Y due out by the end of 2017.
Audi claim its new model can run for almost 500 kilometres on a single charge and charge in just over 45 minutes. It has been reported that Tesla’s Y will only be able to do 380 kilometres before owners will need to find a power point.
