Australian Radio Network (ARN) has announced the appointment of Greg Tremain to the newly created position of partnerships director.

Tremain joins ARN on Tuesday 29th March and brings more than 20 years’ experience working in the Australian media industry to the role. Tremain will be based in Sydney, reporting to ARN’s national agency sales director Matthew Granger.

With his passion for developing innovative, content-led brand solutions, Tremain will work to strengthen existing, and build new relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver market leading business solutions for ARN clients.

Tremain joins ARN from Authentic Entertainment (formally MCM Media), Australia’s largest radio syndicator, where he began work in 2004 as Australia and New Zealand representative for VEVO and producer of entertainment brands including Take 40 Australia, My Generation and Live at the Chapel.

During more than a decade at Authentic Entertainment Greg launched Authentic Entertainment’s Brand Partnerships team and took on multiple national leadership roles including strategy director, sales director, head of content marketing, head of brand partnerships and most recently commercial director where he led a restructure of Authentic’s national sales operation.

Tremain has also previously worked at Austereo as a client marketing manager, providing strategic sales support to agency, direct sales teams and key clients.

ARN’s national agency sales director, Matthew Granger said Tremain  will be a valuable addition to ARN and welcomed him to the role.

“ARN is an audience and customer led business and our commitment to investing in great talent, both on and off air, has resulted in excellent audience growth and built our reputation for delivering effective integrated solutions for clients across our networks,” he said.

“The addition of Greg to our commercial leadership team as partnerships director further strengthens our commercial offering to customers.

“Working with the talented sales, creative, content and strategic team at ARN, we look forward to Greg being a key part of ARN’s customer centric delivery of market leading, creative business solutions.”

Tremain said he was looking forward to joining ARN.

“Over the past few years, I’ve followed and admired ARN’s significant audience growth and transformation into a truly multimedia entertainment business,” he said.

“I’m passionate about helping major brand partners embrace the power of music and entertainment content. I look forward to working with the ARN team as we leverage the scale of their brand portfolio, leading on air talent and evolving digital assets to create unique and engaging opportunities for clients and their brands.”
