Massive Chinese e-commerce site Alibaba has had to back track and remove a job ad it posted which sought a “programmer encouragement specialist”.

Per The Huffington Post, the ad, which has since been deleted, asked for a good-looking applicant.

The position involves motivating the programmers, making them want to get up in the morning and work together. They also needed to have an appearance that is “adequately stunning to programmers”.

Translated by Quartz, the descripted allegedly also asked for someone who was open minded like adult film star Sora Aoi.

Quartz has reported an Alibaba spokesperson said the job ad was intended to be humourous. Check out the full translation from Quartz here.
