Alba Thermal Springs & Spa Urges Workers To Switch Off In New Campaign Via HERO

Created by independent agency HERO, Tech-Free Tranquillity is an invitation to Australia’s fast-paced workforce to switch off and soak up the benefits of geothermal bathing at Alba.

Bathing at Alba is a tech-free experience. Its no-phone policy deliberately encourages guests to leave their phones and smart watches in lockers and instead engage in quiet conversation, while on-site restaurant Thyme offers a fully QR code-free dining experience.

Research has found warm-water immersion can reduce feelings of stress and fatigue, while exposure to natural environments has been associated with improved wellbeing and cognitive performance. Taking time away from digital communications yields up to a 50 per cent increase in creative thinking and problem-solving.

HERO created the targeted social and digital campaign across Meta and LinkedIn to reach business leaders, employees, and entrepreneurs – inviting them to step away from tech to seek quiet, clarity, and the ideas that can follow.

“The wellness space is more topical than ever. Alba’s geothermal baths and magnesium pools are known for their recovery benefits. The HERO team has found a unique strategic approach to move the conversation from purely feeling good to increasing productivity,” said Alba director, sales & marketing Kadi Morrison.

Tech-Free Tranquillity follows the success of Alba’s Midweek Appreciation campaign, that provided a special offer to teachers, paramedics, and other essential service workers.
