Ten’s homegrown whodunit show Mr & Mrs Murder could not maintain its grip on a spot within the top 10 ranked programs last night, dropping down to 18th.
Mr & Mrs Murder pulled in 598,000 viewers last night after it made the top 10 last week with an audience of 715,000 viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.
The program did however stay within the top 10 most watched shows among both the 16-39 and 18-49 demographics.
The show came sixth in the 16-39 bracket with an audience of 203,000 and seventh in 18-49s with 298,000 viewers.
Seven’s military drama Last Resort failed to push past the million mark again last, sitting in ninth place the show claimed 771,000 viewers overall.
Last night’s broadcast of Last Resort was billed as a ‘movie length’ event but audiences did not stay tuned into the show with only 526,000 continuing to watch the second episode.
Last Resort’s performance has dropped from last week’s result of 949,000 and its premiere of 1.2 million.
My Kitchen Rules continues to be a ratings success for Seven, as it sat comfortably in first place last night with 1.753 million viewers.
Nine’s The Block: All Stars came second with an audience of 1.294 million.
Seven took a 25.4% share of all free to air viewers last night while Nine won 19.6%.
The ABC had 13.8%, Ten took 10.4% and SBS had 4.5%.
