Agency 303Lowe have come up with an innovative campaign that gets Swans supporters to show their support for Adam Goodes to ban the booing of the star.

In a statement from the agency’s CEO, Nick Cleaver, it asked fans at tomorrow’s Swans’ game in Sydney to turn their backs at half time time to show support for the beleaguered star.

A statement to media from Cleaver read:

“Tomorrow we will be endeavouring to have Swans supporters stand up at half time, on the sound of the hooter, and turn their back on the pitch, in a show of support for Adam Goodes .

We will be handing out 10,000 leaflets prior to the game promoting this action. We hope all Swans fans will join as one in support. If we are successful the image of the stadium standing with their backs to the pitch will be pushed out through social media as a powerful and evocative demonstration against racism.

Anything your organisation can do to help us promote this action we would really appreciate. It’s for an immensely important cause and in support of an outstanding Australian.”
