Zenith Australia has announced the promotion of Kylie Sneddon to national marketing and commercial director, and the appointment of Mark Johnson as head of performance in Sydney.
In her newly created role, Sneddon will be responsible for driving the marketing profile and commercial success of the agency nationally.
In her last two years at Zenith, she was the group business director leading the Reckitt Benckiser business. Sneddon joined Zenith from Ebiquity, and prior to that, was the media controller at Procter & Gamble for Australia and Zealand.
Her agency experience spans UM and Starcom Mediavest Group in the Sydney and London offices, leading blue-chip accounts including McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Unilever and InBev.
Johnson joins Zenith from MediaCom, where he was a group digital director. Originally from the UK, Johnson has more than 11 years’ industry experience, having worked in digital marketing agency Latitude, and for the last five years has progressed in a variety of performance roles at MediaCom.
Johnson replaces Vinetha Manthena, who was with Zenith for six years.
Zenith Australia CEO Nickie Scriven said: “We are pleased to welcome both Mark and Kylie to these roles as Zenith continues its transformation as the ROI agency.
“Both have worked with a range of blue-chip advertisers, and bring a wealth of skills and experience to Zenith and our clients.”
Commenting on her new role, Sneddon said: “This is an exciting new role at Zenith where I will work with the leadership team nationally to help drive client growth and cement Zenith’s position as the ROI agency.”
Commenting on his appointment, Johnson said: “I’m very much looking forward to leading, coaching and developing the performance team at Zenith with a new way of thinking that will ultimately drive improved performance and business outcomes for our clients.
“I am also excited to join the Sydney leadership team and be part of Zenith’s transformative journey.”
Both appointments are effective from January 2018.
