Sydney’s top marketing honchos on how they made it to the corner office.
ADMA’s 30Below Network in NSW is once again organising the popular Grill the Honcho, its annual event for the under 30s in the industry. It takes place at ADMA Global Forum on Tuesday 29 July from 3.00pm-4.40pm at the Sydney Hilton Hotel.
The honchos come from a diverse array of industries. On tap in 2014 are:
- Jane Huxley, Managing Director, Pandora Australia and New Zealand
- Michael Betteridge, General Manager Marketing, Wotif Group
- Mei Koon, Senior Manager, Corporate Marketing and Communications, NSW Business Chamber Group of Companies
- Will Scully-Power, Managing Director, Datarati
- Phillip Smith, Managing Director, Apparent
“ADMA 30Below holds a Grill the Honcho event every year at ADMA Global Forum as a way for young people in our industry to gain valuable career advice and thought-provoking insights from the people who are the cream of the industry crop right now,” said ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster.
The event works a bit like speed dating. Young guns sit at tables in the room which are hosted by a honcho and over the course of four rotations (15 minutes each) are able to quiz a different honcho about their career path or ask for career/mentoring advice.
Tickets are $40 which includes networking drinks after the grill and access to the Innovation Zone, a marketing and advertising playground featuring the latest global tools, applications and technology. Tickets are strictly limited. Check out speaker bios and book at http://www.30below.com.au/events/grill-honcho/
