A Fuji Television Network executive will be jetting in from Japan to attend Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest, after winning tickets and flights during Advertising Week Asia.
Tokyo-based Hideaki Kinoshita hails from one of Japan’s leading national commercial broadcasters, part of Fuji Media Holdings, one of the country’s largest media groups with interests spanning broadcasting, film production, digital media, publishing, live events and content distribution.
Kinoshita works across digital media, platform strategy and data-driven marketing at Fuji Television Network, spanning content, commercial and audience growth initiatives. Speaking after being announced as the winner, he said he was looking forward to experiencing the festival first-hand.
“I am very excited to learn about the latest trends in advertising and marketing at the festival, and I look forward to seeing the front line of the industry in Cairns,” Kinoshita said.
Kinoshita was announced as the lucky winner after entering the competition at industry event Advertising Week Asia, which was held in Japan in December.
As a media partner of the event, and as part of a broader Asia-Pacific tour, senior leaders from Cairns Crocodiles were on the ground at Advertising Week Asia promoting the Cairns-based event, including a competition to win tickets and flights for two.
Rosie Oakshott, managing director of B&T and Cairns Crocodiles, said the partnerships with the Tokyo event reflected a shared ambition to elevate creativity across the region.
“Hideaki’s win is a great example of the calibre of talent engaging with Cairns Crocodiles across the Asia-Pacific region. We’re thrilled to be welcoming him to Cairns and to see the festival resonating so strongly with senior leaders in global media,” Oakshott said.
In addition to its partnership with Advertising Week Asia, Cairns Crocodiles is also a media partner of ADFEST, which will take place in Pattaya, Thailand, from 19–21 March 2026.
“Both ADFEST and Advertising Week Asia share a joint commitment, like us, to championing creativity, innovation and community,” Oakshott added.
“By working together, we are strengthening and making meaningful connections across the region and amplifying Asia-Pacific’s distinctive creative voice.”
