It’s officially on, like Donkey Kong.
With more than 3,000 votes already cast in the B&T Women in Media Awards, presented by Are Media, People’s Choice Award, the 2026 leaderboard is starting to take shape.
The race is tight, though Resolution Digital’s Christen Fernandes has pulled out an early — though not unassailable — lead, taking 6.7 per cent of all the votes cast.
It’s no doubt Slack channels have been flooded and LinkedIn feeds are popping off, with the hunt officially on for the People’s Choice Award.
So, who’s leading the pack right now?
The current Top 10 is:
- Christen Fernandes, Resolution Digital
- Esther Selvanayagam, Ogilvy
- Annaliese Norsworthy, Scentre Group
- Niamh Ryan, News Australia
- Kate Filippelis, Cartology
- Deepika Sondal, WPP Media
- Adele Gibb, Dentsu
- Kaitlin Brooks, Atomic 212º
- Rianna Danis, News Australia
- Eloise Russell, Mindshare
Of course, this is only a snapshot in time.
With voting still open, the leaderboard could change in the blink of an eye, so if your favourite media superstar isn’t where you think they should be, now’s the time to rally the troops and get those votes in!
