Wednesday TV Wrap: Nine’s New Medical Show Emergency Has Solid Debut

Nine’s lastest medical reality show Emergency had premiered to 544,000 viewers, according to OzTAM metro numbers.

The show goes behind the scenes at the Royal Melbourne Hospital emergency department, shown through the eyes of a dedicated team of medical professionals.

Over at 10, its best for the night was Bondi Rescue (477,000). Seven’s best was The Chase (675,000), while ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering enjoyed 528,000.

Nine won the night across all channels with 28.6 per cent. Seven did 27.0 per cent, 10 did 16.4 per cent, ABC did 18.1 per cent and SBS did 9.8 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Nine

News did 1.07m, ACA did 706,000, Hot Seat did 569,000 and RBT did 544,000.

The Project did 490,000 and 10 News First did 387,000.

Seven

Home & Away did 642,000 and America’s Got Talent enjoyed 456,000.

ABC

7.30 did 661,000 and Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery did 504,000.

Primary channel share

Nine won the night with 19.8 per cent, Seven did 19.3 per cent, 10 did 9.1 per cent while ABC did 12.8 6 per cent and SBS did 6.0 per cent.
