MAFS dominated the ratings once again, this time treated audiences to the highly anticipated Friends and Family weeks where we get to see why the contestants are as bonkers as they are.
The love experiment brough in a Total TV National Reach of 2,719,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,785,000.
The episode began with a lonely, sombre Scott dealing with the aftermath of having semi-naked photos of his ex-girlfriend in his phone accidentally found by current wife Gia.
On a more positive note, many of the friend and family reunions were quite pleasant including Stella and Filip’s friends swooning over their connection, asking when they are going to finally say those three little words, “I love you”.
The positivity was short-lived, as expected. The episode ended with couples being tasked with ranking all participants in the experiment based on attractiveness. For Joel and Juliette, it was catastrophic.
Juliette told Joel she was attracted to someone more her age and proceeded to rank the only other groom with the exact same age as her husband first. Don’t worry Joel didn’t let it get to him, he instead got some good old-fashioned payback ranking her third to her intense dismay.
Juliette in retaliation, packed her bags and left her husband all alone. But don’t worry, it wouldn’t be an episode of MAFS without a dramatic exit would it?
World News captivated a large audience overnight with the 7 News Special: America Strikes bringing in a National Reach of 824,000 and an Average Audience of 474,000. Coming in just below was ABC’s Foreign Correspondent with an National Reach of 818,000 and an Average Audience of 592,000.
