Last night, Aussies were in for a treat with two major launches – MAFS and Australian Idol. MAFS won the Ratings for Nine with a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,464,000, while Australian Idol was close with a National Average Audience of 1,017,000 for Seven.
MAFS is ushering in its 13th season, reactivating a major cultural event. This year introduces a revamped ‘Revelations Week’, engineered to surface hidden truths, alongside the return of ‘Final Test Week,’ a twist that could determine which relationships stand a chance beyond the experiment.
Presiding over the drama are returning experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and Mel Schilling, tasked once again with navigating intimacy, conflict and compatibility in real time.
Before the weddings begin, 18 hopeful singles have been revealed and the lineup is, as ever, a mixed bag.
Over on Seven, Australian Idol is back with its fourth season since the reboot launched.
Talent from diverse genres will battle it out for the crown, $100,000 and a recording deal.
Radio host Kyle Sandilands, Queen of Pop Marcia Hines and eight-time ARIA winner Amy Shark are back to preside the judging panel, with former contestant Ricki-Lee Coulter also returning, alongside Scott Tweedie, to host the show.
Channel 10‘s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! dipped slightly in the Ratings, securing 12th position with a National Average Audience of 593,000.
ABC’s Four Corners brought in a National Average Audience of 489,000.
