Television networks reported on the incident as breaking news with continuous live updates, offering live information to help keep the public informed throughout the night. Broadcasters focused on providing accurate details, expert commentary, and support resources, reflecting the nation’s collective concern and the impact of such events on the community.

Last night, Seven News Sunday led the Sunday evening ratings with a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,131,000 viewers, as Australians tuned in for extensive coverage of the tragic Bondi Beach shooting.

Close behind, Nine News Sunday attracted 1,096,000 viewers, providing detailed reporting and expert analysis on the incident.

Meanwhile, Seven’s investigative program Spotlight drew 568,000 viewers, offering deeper context and follow-up stories related to the events at Bondi, keeping audiences informed on the aftermath and community impact.
