In another heated episode of The Block, it was all eyes on Han and Can again. The episode garnered a total national TV reach of 2,060,000, placing it second overall for the night and achieving a national average of 1,380,000.
For once, the main point of contention wasn’t Han and Can’s attitude or bickering but instead their style choices. With a sickening combination of marble wall tiles, multi-coloured herringbone pattern floor tiles and a pressed metal ceiling, hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft gave the bathroom a huge thumbs down.
“Everything in here is jarring,” Judge Neale Whitaker said. “I haven’t said this for a long time, but this is a crime scene. You couldn’t relax in here.”
“All of those individual elements can be fine on their own, but not together. It’s a mess, it’s everything that a spa experience shouldn’t be.”
The bigger question we would be asking, however, is what the hell did they put in their bathtub?
Over on Seven, it was My Kitchen Rules that did the numbers with a total TV national reach of 1,725,000 and a national average of 882,000. The competition travelled to the Gold Coast for opinionated couple Michael and Rielli’s Instant Restaurant, where the self-described ‘Perfect Pair’ attempted to plate up the perfect menu.
