Nine’s True Story With Hamish And Andy had a standout 2017, however, viewers appear less interested in this year’s season with last night’s episode managing a rather benign 634,000 viewers.
Not that it was a problem for Nine who, on the back of the all-conquering The Block (918,000), won Tuesday night with 30.1 per cent audience share.
Seven had to settle for second with 26.9 per cent, Ten stole third with 17.5 per cent and the ABC pulled 16.8 per cent. SBS lifted its numbers to 8.7 per cent on the back of Filthy Rich And Homeless that pulled 387,000 for the public broadcaster.
Nine’s other standouts last night were its 7pm news bulletin (930,000), ACA (807,000), Hot Seat (525,000) and Kath & Kim re-runs (346,000).
Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the evening with 1.02 million, while Dance Boss continues to disappoint, pulling 481,000 last night.
Australian Survivor was Ten’s best, posting 634,000. While The Project managed 512,000.
Over at the ABC, its 7pm news bulletin was its most watched show with 755,000. Foreign Correspondent enjoyed 502,000, Catalyst had 456,000 and Search For Second Earth struggled to 250,000.
